How To Apply for UGC NET 2019:

  • in the home page, you will see a link of “College/University Teaching & Fellowship”

  • go to the apply online page and you will see a form there
  • now you need to fill the form and submit the fees

NET Exam Eligibility Criteria 2019:

there are several eligibility criteria. the complete details for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor program are given below:

Age Criteria:

  • For JRF the upper age limit is 30 years as on January 2019
  • No Age limit for the Assistant Professor Candidates
  • There is a relaxation in the age of 5 years for OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PWD and women category
  • There will also be an age relaxation of 3 years for research experience and LLMDegree Holders

Qualification:

  • Candidates who have a masters degree or equivalent from a university recognized by the UGC can Apply. (Ph.D. candidates can also apply)
  • It is must to have at least 55% marks in the master’s degree (50% marks for the reserved Candidates)
  • Appearing the final semester of masters degree candidates can also apply
  • There will be a 5% relaxation for Ph. D. degree holders in aggregate marks. these candidates should have the master’s degree examination completed before 19th September 1991

Eligibility For Assistant Professor:

  • NET / SET / SLET will be the minimum eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor Candidates
  • Candidates who passed the UGC / CSIR JRF examination prior to 1989 are exempted to appear in the examination
  • For SET Candidates who passed the SET exam prior to 1st June 2002 are exempted from appearing in NET Exam. these candidates can apply for assistant professor in all over India. Those who have cleared the SET after 2002 are eligible for the assistant professor post only in universities or colleges situated in the state from where they have cleared the SET

UGC NET Exam Pattern 2019:

  • The Exam will be conducted through online mode only.
  • There will be objective type questions in the examination.
  • There will be two papers.
  • You can choose the language of the paper either Hindi or English.
  • Each Question will be of 2 marks.

UGC NET 2019 Syllabus:

There will be 2 papers for each category and the UGC NET Syllabus will be separate for each paper. paper 1 will be of general nature including the teaching/research aptitude of the candidates.

Paper 1 basically tests the reasoning ability, general awareness, comprehension and divergent thinking of the candidates.

UGC NET Admit Card 2019:

The National testing Agency will release the UGC NET Admit Card 2019, 20 days or a month prior to the examination dates. All the candidates have to bring a photo identity card issued by the Indian government along with the printout copy of the Admit card which will be released online.

Remember that you will not be allowed in the examination hall without the admit card and your id proof. and one more thing that you will not get the admit card via post, you can only get it via the official website.

NTA UGC NET syllabus 2019 (Paper 1 And Paper 2) & Exam Pattern

UGC NET Syllabus 2019: The National Testing Agency introduced with NET under UGC, twice times every year. The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE operates the UGC NET in all over India with 84 different subjects. Almost 91 cities had been selected for the candidates to appear in the examination. The official page of NET uploaded the latest and updated syllabus of NET 2019 for all the postgraduates. The last December of 2018, “Sindhi” subject was added newly for the upcoming NET 2019 syllabus. Previously, candidates had to face three different papers in NET. But, after July 2018, paper 3 has been omitted from the NET syllabus.

UGC NET Syllabus 2019:

Every year, NTA conducts the UGC NET to judge the eligibility to be a junior researcher or lecturer of different colleges of India. To conquer the goals, all the aspirants need to be aware of the UGC NET 2019 syllabus. According to one’s chosen subject, one can appear for the UGC NET. UGC NET syllabus for paper 1

NET Paper 1 will be a common paper for all the candidates. This one is totally based on to examine the ability of research or teaching qualities of all the candidates. NET paper 1 is composed with few topics such as Research Aptitude, Teaching Aptitude, Communication, Reading Comprehension, Logical Reasoning, Mathematical Reasoning, Information and Communication Technology, Data Interpretation, Higher Education System, People, and Environment.

NET paper 2 will be based on the subjects selected by each candidate. All the applicants need to elect one desirable subject from their post-graduation, which will be advantageous to score high in NET, 2019.

UGC NET Exam Pattern 2019

UGC NET Exam Pattern 2019: Twice a year, The National Eligibility Test (NET) comes up with excellent opportunities.

  • Candidates can endeavor the examination in both Hindi and English medium. At the time of filling the application form, they can select their comfortable language for examination.
  • There are 150 numbers of questions in NET paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 will contain 50 common questions for the entire candidates where paper 2 will consist of 100 subject-based questions.

Aspirants need to answer all the questions of paper 1 and 2. Each Correct answers will be rewarded with two marks. NET will not conduct any negative marking for wrong attempts.

some important facts to remember:

  • For all concerned candidates, NTA published mock examination papers for their practice sessions.
  • Those who are having Post graduation/Master degree in Mathematics/ Statistics, Geography are allowed to take the Population Studies subject for NET.
  • Applicants with Post graduation/Master degree of Humanities, Social Science can choose Women Studies’ subject for NET.
  • It is advisable to explore the nook and corner of the prescribed syllabus by NTA and narrated topics to crack the examination.
